Graphic Design for Social Good
Pennsylvania College of Art and Design N Prince St, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603
The act of doing good by giving a voice to the voiceless can be a force to be reckoned with. On a worldwide scale– artists have and continue to produce iconic posters, advertising, websites, books, publications, clothing, accessories, and more that play an integral part in how the stories of our time unfold in the public forum and influence the good. In this course, students will draw upon current topics as inspiration for their own unique campaigns while discussing case studies of past movements, individual works, and other artists in this field. This class is mainly a graphic design course held in our computer lab.
