On Thursday, May 21, McDonald’s® at 757 E. Cumberland Street in Lebanon will go "Back to the Beginning" with a special customer thank you event celebrating the restaurant’s history and community connections. The celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature special throwback pricing (29 cent hamburgers, 39 cent cheeseburgers, and 25 cent small fries), special giveaways for children, retro decorations, and more.
"On May 21, we’re looking forward to saying thank you to the community," said Peter Ballantine, the restaurant’s owner/operator. "Since opening in 1984, McDonald’s has been a proud part of the Lebanon community. Supporting community partners from local sports teams to organizations, we are proud to call Lebanon our home and excited to offer an opportunity for our customers and crew to share in the nostalgia of celebrating our roots."
Restaurant crew will be decked out in special retro gear for the event and a special recognition celebration will honor Cora Bradley, supervisor of the E. Cumberland Street Lebanon for her 40 years of service at McDonald’s restaurants in Lebanon. "The entire team is looking forward to sharing in the celebration with the community," said Cora. "We hope everyone will have the opportunity to join us as we turn back time, share some classic McDonald’s favorites, and celebrate the many wonderful things that make our community great."
