Folk singer - songwriter Bobbi Carmitchell in Concert
to
A well-traveled performer, Lancaster County native Bobbi Carmitchell has covered a lot of territory with her music over these last 25 years. Whether performing for Presidents in Washington D.C., or criss-crossing the U.S. from Boston to Bakersfield, Portland to Peoria, Montreal to Monterey, Walla Walla to Willow Street, Bobbi has been on the move. However, as you will find out if you listen to her latest recording, “County Wide,” she always ends up back in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, because she loves the land and the unique rural culture.
Bobbi has been a strong presence in the Central Pennsylvania music scene, as well as on a national level. Equally comfortable in intimate house concerts or concert halls, she has a way of involving her audience in every aspect of the live performance. She’s been known to stop singing all together and question why people are leaving, just seconds after playing the song they requested.
Bobbi has lent her name and voice to many causes over the years, and continues to donate her talents to further awareness of issues of personal importance to her.
