Experimental Mixed Media – July 19, 2014
to
Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen North Queen Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603
This workshop is for all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced artisans and painters. Exploring color, texture and line as well as design principles, we will paint, pour, spray, stamp, and make our marks with nontraditional painting tools and techniques.
This is a good class for painters who want to break into new territory and for people who have always wanted to make paintings but think they lack the skills to do so.
Materials fee: $10, covers papers, canvas, paints and supplies. Payable directly to the instructor at the time of the class.
Here are some ideas for additional supplies you might want, but do not have to bring because I will have many items with which you can work. You might consider: colored pencils, markers, crayons, pastels, ink, acrylic paints, ribbon, string, buttons and ephemera you might layer into a painting (bottle caps, photographs, dried flowers, for example).
If you sign up for 3 or more sessions of this class, each session is only $60 for non-members and $54 for members! We host one almost every month, so call us at 717-431-8706 to let us know which sessions you would like to attend.
Price: $75/$67
