Dr. Shelly Moorman-Stahlman, Professor at Lebanon Valley College, is a frequent recitalist on organ and piano. She has performed in Washington D.C., New York City and Philadelphia, receiving outstanding reviews, such as "knock out performance" (Philadelphia Inquirer).
Shelly’s program honors LVC’s 150th year, with works by Bach, Clerambault, Couperin, Vierne, and Sowerby, which were performed at the 1968 organ dedication recital by David Craighead. Also included is a tribute to the late Dr. Pierce Getz, LVC Organist and Director of Choral Activities for 31 years, with a piece by Dr. Robert Lau, LVC Professor for 22 years. The program will conclude with movements from Iain Farrington’s “Animal Parade” and Calvin Hampton’s “Five Dances.”
