Dr. Eric Fung, Piano Recital

 

Award-winning pianist, Eric Fung, Associate Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College, will perform a solo recital on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Lutz Recital Hall, 3:00 p.m. A graduate of the Juilliard School and the Eastman School of Music, Dr. Eric Fung won 2nd prize ex aequo from the Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig in 2002. He was also the winner of the Juilliard School Concerto Competition and Corpus Christi International Piano Competition. His Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center Debut received rave reviews from the New York Concert Review and the New York Times , respectively. His program includes Preludes and Fugues by J. S. Bach, a sonata by Mozart, three preludes by Debussy, and the monumental Variations and Fugue on the theme of Handel by Brahms.
