Dissection: Sheep Brain and Eye

Naturalist Ann Strauss will run a dissection evening and focus on two specimens, a sheep brain and a sheep eye. Each participant will get their own specimens to dissect. Instructions will be given in the beginning of the program and then participants will be able to perform a hands-on dissection and study of the sheep parts. Students will learn about the human eye and brain by way of comparisons to the sheep eye and brain. Parents must come into the classroom to sign a consent form before dropping off students for the program.
