"Beyond the Garden Gate" Home and Garden Tour

The Neighborhoods of Old Town, Lancaster City, will be hosting "Beyond the Garden Gate," a self-guided home and garden tour, Sunday June, 17, 2012, from Noon to 5 p.m. This is a rain or shine event. The tour provides an inside look at one of Lancaster City's most unique neighborhoods, and will feature 10 historic homes. Gardens will be open for all of the homes and nine of the homes will open their first floor for touring by visitors. In addition to the historic homes, visitors are encouraged to view the neighborhood's two common spaces, Case Commons, as well as it's newest green space, Church Pointe Park. Tickets for the tour are $10 per person the day of the event. Tickets are also available for pre-sale at the following Lancaster City retail locations: Tellus 360, Chestnut House, Festoon, Lancaster Art and Glass Works and David the Goldsmith. Pre-sale tickets prices are: one for $10 and two or more are discounted at $9 each. Proceeds benefit the Five Points Neighborhood Association and are used to maintain the public spaces at Case Commons and Church Pointe Park.
