Autumn Workshop Series for Young Writers
to
The Ware Center North Prince Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Like to play with words? Want to become a better writer? Explore the literary arts this fall with the 2015 Autumn Series from the Lancaster County Young Writer’s Workshop.
This series of workshops will cultivate curiosity and creativity in young writers, offering them the skills and tools they need to strengthen their work. Students will study masterful texts, dissecting them in order to gain an understanding of what makes the writing powerful. Students will then craft their own work, including polished poems, stories, and essays. The workshops will feature craft lessons on poetry, fiction, and nonfiction and will be combined with writing exercises.
Held in the vibrant downtown Lancaster location at Millersville University’s Ware Center, each workshop is designed to work on its own, or in sequence with the other workshops, building on prior skills and exercises. The cost of registering for individual workshops is $40, but those interested in attending all three workshops can register for the reduced rate of $110. Pre-registration is required for these workshops. There are a limited number of slots per workshop, so the sooner, the better. To register, please contact lcyoungwritersworkshop@gmail.com .
Price: $40 for a single session or $110 for all three
