Amos Lee Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song Tour
With his laid-back vocal delivery and acoustic songwriting, Amos Lee draws inspiration from soul music, ‘70s folk, and contemporary jazz. With the release of his self-titled debut album in 2004, the Philadelphia-born former schoolteacher immediately earned the attention of discerning music fans and fellow artists alike for his adult alternative, indie/rock style. In 2011, his album Mission Bell debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Currently, Lee is touring in support of his recent release “Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song.”
Contemporary singer/songwriter Pieta Brown will be opening for Amos Lee. Pieta’s adult alternative pop-rock sound has been heard during her performances at festivals throughout North America including Bonnaroo, Mountain Jam, Edmonton Folk Music Festival and more.
