63rd Annual Shrewsbury Flower Show: Birds 'n' Blooms

Open judging of 75 featured fresh and dried floral designs and garden specimens by accredited flower show judges.  "Up with the Chickens", "Penguin", "Bald Eagle", "Baltimore Oriole", "Canade Goose" and "Gold Finch" are just a few of the predetermined catagories which will be featured at this year's Show.  Everyone from flower lovers to garden enthusiasts to amateur and professional designers is encouraged to participate.  A photo contest sponsored and judged by Alan Miller of River Rock Landscape will be held in conjunction with the Show and youth and adults are welcome to submit entries for cash prizes.  Call for information, a show brochure, to enter a floral arrangement, garden specimen, or photograph. Show hours are 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, August 23 & 24, 2014

Price: Free admission. Donations welcome.
