4-H Acitivty Days

Cumberland County 4-H is gearing up for its 4-H Activity Days scheduled for July 13 and July 20.  The Activity Days will be held at the Penn State Extension Office in Carlisle. Have you ever traveled internationally? Well here’s your chance! Youth are invited to come out to Activity Day I and explore three different cultures from around the world! Travel with us as we explore the food, language, and traditions of China, New Zealand, and France through food tastings, crafts, and hands-on activities. Then join us for Activity Day II as we celebrate Christmas in July. Come for a fun-filled morning to design, make, and eat your very own Crispy Christmas cottage, create handmade ornaments, and become a gift-wrapping guru!

Participants must be between the ages of 8-12 years old. Registration is limited to 40 youth at each camp and is required by the following dates: July 6 for Activity Day I and July 13 for Activity Day II. The registration fee is $7 each day and includes all program materials and take-home items.
