I just love receiving holiday greetings. In a by-gone era of hand written notes, this magical time of year is made even more special, delivered in the personal style of each family member and friend.
While some people have store bought displays or crafty card trees, this year, I simply taped them up to our pantry door, where each glimpse surrounds us with cheer from loved ones.
In today’s digital age, our creative director, Donovan Roberts Witmer and his family created a video greeting featuring his daughter, Noemi, that is just too cute not to share!
Equally as much as I enjoy opening up each envelope that arrives throughout December, I look forward to the process each year of creating and sending my own cards. In years past, I hand crafted cards with everything from stamps to glitter and my favorite, felt. But this year with the addition of our new puppy Fella to our family, I thought it only appropriate to warm the hearts of our friends and family with a photo of the little guy. Our first photo card ever, I wanted to make it
different, to reflect my quirky style, and give a glimpse into our new home. Luckily, I work with a talented photographer who was able to drop by one morning before work and shoot our card concept in under 30 minutes. I had them printed that day, and in the mail that evening.
